KR has presented the Vietnam Register (VR) with SeaTrust-HullScan (the software solution developed by KR to analyze and appraise a hull structures for drybulk carriers and tankers) at a formal ceremony attended by delegations from both sides, including KR’s Chairman and CEO, Dr. B. S. Park and Mr. Tran Ky hinh, General Director, VR in Hanoi, Vietnam, on 17 August, 2016.

Both parties took the opportunity to confirm the positive relationship based on trust and mutual technical cooperation, between the two organisations.

KR delivered several bespoke seminars for the Vietnam Register, ship design companies and shipping companies on such major subjects as ‘KR’s recent activities and engineering’, ‘CSR-H program’, ‘Considerations for shipping companies regarding CSR-H’ and ‘Next Generation Intact Stability’. 

Meanwhile, the KR delegation visited its client companies, Prim Shipping, Nhat Viet Transportation and Vinalines and welcomed their feedback and opinions on KR’s services, while discussing measures to strengthen cooperative relationships.
