The 25th Annunal General Meeting (AGM) of the Asian Shipowners' Association (ASA) was held in Shanghai on 19th May 2016. More than 170 delegates from 15 Asian countries attended the AGM.

On behalf of the Korean ocean-going shipping industry, Mr Youn-Jae LEE, Chairman of the Korea Shipowner' Association and Mr Young-Moo KIM, Executive Vice Chairman attended the AGM and exchanged views on the international maritime issues. 

During the meeting, it was announced that ASF will operate under a new name. The Asian Shipowners' Forum (ASF) will be known as Asian Shipowners' Association.
